While Bonnie was working as a Field Representative for a State Senator based in Dallas, she visited Austin during the legislative session. That is where she met Bobby - at a crawfish boil happy hour for legislative staffers.

Bobby found out Bonnie worked for an influential Senator and was determined to make a connection. Turns out the connection paid off, personally speaking!

Bonnie went back to Dallas and Bobby remained in Austin. A couple months later, neither one of them could forget about the other and they decided to try long distance. A mere 6 months or so, Bonnie moved to Austin to begin working in the Governor's office.

Soon after the move to Austin, little did they know, the world went into Covid shut down a few weeks later.

After five years of countless memories, Bobby proposed at home on December 30, 2023 with the couples' two dog's - Tatonka and Henry as witness. They cannot wait to see where the future will take them!
